Watercolor on paper 16" x 12" In hindsight i wish i had made it bigger. This is a series of paintings i plan to do based on temple architecture.

Hi,
You've done a really good work in terms of values and the colours are very pleasant, namely the chroma. The perspective is realistically conveyed.
Kind regards,

Interesting topic. I look forward to seeing your future paintings of temple architecture. I like the colors you used and the elephants are well done. Kathy |

| I painted another set of elephants, cut them out and pasted them on a backdrop of dark blue archival paper. This made the painting 2 1/2 times the original size. |

Priti, I like how you've combined that contemporary graphic backing to the realism and detail of the elephants. It moves it to a more modern feel. What are your thoughts? Which one do YOU like better? (Don't ask me because I like each one for different reasons.) |

Kim i like them both - as a painting i like the first one, but if i was buying something for my office or dining room i would buy the second one as it has a painting and "something more" - i like the drama or bold color that is placed well. I think you are right, the bold blue stripe makes it modern and new feeling. |

Pritti, This is a stunner. I look forward to this series of yours and more temple architecture. I love the saturated colors, it's beautiful to look at.
