Working on 1 of 2 commisions of this hunter, first one w/ his sons first buck...still have a ways to go but I really like the way dads camo came out.

I used vellum bristol and wished I would of chosen smooth. 11x14

A bit better I think the scanner picks up the texture of the vellum and that is unacceptable to me I should just get rid of all my vellum and stop complaining.

Very well done, Rosie. I know the problems with scanners. Any paper or canvas will give you a problem. Since I've been photographing my work, my only problem has been with a shine that sometimes appear on the oil paintings that I do.

Another great piece of work here, Rosie!
It's really cool how I can see the resemblance in the boy and his Father...the eyes have it!
Very well done, as usual!

You have got to have the patience of a saint, Rosie!
This piece looks so tedious to me, but then a again, that's one reason I love your work. It's so involved, detailed and always well done! I would be pulling what little hair I have left on my head out if I drew all of those leaves, and that camo has got to be challenging...although, I could see where it would also be fun!

p.s Thanks for the tip..."Use the pointy end". :-)
