All, I have a client that I did a couple of paintings for (sports-action type)who would like a painting of a picture he took of his back yard from inside his home. He is thinking of having it done as a 30x36 painting (could be oil, water color or acrylic I suppose). But the way he wants to do it is a bit different.. He would like to have artists suggest how they might do this painting and then he will select 6-10 to do a small (12x16) concept painting that he would pay for - around $100. Of this group of concept painters, he would select the one he would like to have done in large format. For this the artist would receive approximately $500. I say approximately because at that point it will be up to the artist and my client to work out. I can assure you that this he is of good character and pays promptly. I like doing sports action so this isn't my cup of tea. So the first step is to send a proposal of how you'd like to do it. i.e. "Like the attached painting..." Thanks - bob

Hi - this photo just screams watercolor - like an English Garden. A little brighter would be nice but the misty feel of the photo would be kept. Also I would crop some off the right to fit the size. Hope this is what you are asking for and it isn't too late. Thanks, Linda

Hi,

Has this project been completed?  I thought the idea was different and the picture interesting.  If it is still open please let me know and i will discuss it further. I will include a recent picture I have done for a quick idea of style.

Thanks

Yvonne

What was I thinking - of course I should have put in a sample of my paintings. Here is one titled "Cold morning in New Hampshire" and another "my Grandmother's Garden" just to show a little range. (And because I'm new here I'm really hoping that the pictures are the right ones in which I've cropped out the background borders of the photograph.) Thanks.

I was wondering if your client picked an artist for this project already.  I've done a similar painting for a client and would like to know if this is still available.  Im attaching a photo.  Thank you.
