Subject: How do I manage my forum subscriptions?

One question we admins get asked fairly frequently is “Why am I getting tons of e-mails about threads I’m subscribed to?”

At the top of each forum and thread, there’s a little box you can check that says “Email me when someone replies to this thread.”

This is convenient when you want to be notified immediately via e-mail when someone replies to a thread you’re interested in. It can be overwhelming when you subscribe to a whole forum and get dozens of these notifications a day!

It’s easy to unsubscribe from any or all of your tracked forums or threads and stop getting the e-mail notifications. Click on My Profile in the upper right hand side of the page, then click on the Subscriptions tab. All of the threads and forums you are tracking will be listed. There will be a little Delete button for each that you can click to remove that subscription.
