Well, this is my first post here at the drawing  forum. This is an old work, it is a graphite of 20" x 14".

I hope to have some critiques...

I love the perspective angle - makes for a good match with the subject.  It is very sweet and a beautiful drawing. Will we be seeing more?

I also love to draw children--there is just something about their innocence--looks of joy, of hope. The hand on the child's head is wonderful--I can feel the love and comfort from the adult to the child

Drawing and painting children is rewarding, even when I don't find it easy, anyway.

Byani - This is a strong piece with lots of movement and contrast - young/old; innocent baby fingers/huge fingers that show decades of life in them; weak/strength - and the juxtaposition is perfect -it reminds me so of images I saw traveling through eastern Europe five years ago. So glad you shared it - it made me smile and drift back to my visit - it's so powerful. Cheers, Ian-Andre'

Hi! Ani
Your graphic work show in your sketches. Excellent!! You really captured the moment. I see you have just the right touch with the pencil. It will take me a while to handle pencil as well is you do. Looking forward to seeing more or your art. Hoping you will post some of your design in the digital section of the forum.

The detail on the adult's hand is fantastic. I, too, love the perspective. Very endearing.

Hello everyone! I couldn't come here for a while and now I find such comments to my work, I thank all of you!
Ian-André, yours are the kind of words every artist wants to hear, I´m so grateful.
Johanna, I love pencil, maybe that shows through the finished work. Regarding digital work... well, not for now. I had my time with it for professional needs, but I´m off
Linda, thank you very much too!
