Hi, I am trying to learn how to sketch without using a graph so I am posting two of my drawings. Please feel free to critique my work. Thanks.

The 1st drawing:
- The perspective and the cross bars of the 6 legs are a bit confusing
Second drawing:
- If you are depicting a statue then it needs more shadowing, lighting to make it look 3-dimensional

Hi Frank,
Thank you so much for your suggestions regarding my work. It has been quite difficult for me to draw without a graph. I will be posting my other works which are reproductions that I was required to produce using the Classical Academic method. I am so glad to have found this forum with many talented artists.
