I just love to do pencil drawings.  A wonderful media to develope your skill in drawing, the foundation of all good art.  Here are a few that I have done.  All comments, good and bad, are welcome.  All drawings done from live models.

Hi, Phil,
Lucky you to have live models. My mother used to catch the members of our family watching TV. They were very good likenesses. I wish I had someone to sit for me.
The guitar player is the most complete and I like him. Maybe you could get him to sit a few minutes longer to put more detail in his face—eyebrows, hairline.

There is more detail in his face. My photography wasn't quite good enough to get it to show on the reporduction. As for getting my models back, that is easier said than done. And thank you for your comments.

I like these. They are great in an ugly-beautiful sort of way. That is my aesthetic too and our styles are similar. View mine under "Famous painting done in pencil".

Very nice! I like the top one the best. maybe the line down the back is a bit dark. But you captured the weight of her sitting very nicely!

Drawing in pencil is my favorite. You have done a very nice job. I like the detail and the contrast you put into them. I would show you some of mine but this is my first post since I just joined and I'm not sure how to do that. I hope to see more of your work. Thanks for sharing.
