Thanks everyone...my first day back to the computer. It is sooo nice to get back here! Barry & Mike, I agree about the nose. I haven't had the chance to make the changes since all I do is sleep. Think I had better be getting used to being up as I go back to work on the 7th. Lona, I only throw them away when the paper doesn't hold up anymore.... Sometimes I think I should have thrown out some of the beginning things...they need so much help

well, I think I'm finished...hope I got the nose fixed. I welcome any & all comments. I thought I would be back sooner but found I had under estimated the amount of pain from the foot surgery. It is good to be back to work & drawing, again.

At the suggestion of another artist, I pushed the darks.... I think it helped if I didn't go too far or maybe I need to do more???

Hi Donna

I hope you don't mind that I made some changes digitally to your drawing and maybe this will help a little. I change the size of the pupil. I erased the lines under the eyes because in the ref photo it doesn't seem to have lines. I made the nose a little longer. I extended the corners of the eyes. And I made changes in the chin and lips.

Lennie,
Thanks for the side by side comparison. BTW, what program did you use? I appreciate any & all c & c. It has helped tremendiously.

Hi again,

Your welcome,  I'm glad I could help. As far as the programs I used I actually used two.  For making changes in the drawing   I used corel pinter X with the help of a Wacom tablet  and I used Adobe photo shop to arrange them side by side.

Kassie,

Thanks for the kind comment...I did go back & raise his right cheek a little. I have decided to call it finished, at last.
