Decided to put the roses on hold & go on to another project. Graphite pencil on Stonehenge Vellum Finish 5x7. Have trouble with smudging but I always do!! ALL comments welcome & appreciated.

This is beautiful, Daffy! Wow... you and your flowers are just amazing. I LOVE this! You did this on vellum?? It looks really smooth for vellum- good job! Is this a small portion of a larger work that we're going to be seeing in the future?

Thanks for the kind words...guess you figured out that I love flowers. Actually, I don't know anything about different papers. I just got this because it was advertised to be suitable for all drawing. This covers the whole page & I really hadn't thought about doing something larger...hmmm, maybe I will. Most of my work is done on 8x10 or smaller so I can carry it with me.

ssw, regarding your comment on vellum paper...would the fact that I accidentally used the back account for the smoothness? I have done a little more work on it as I am anxious to finish & perhaps try something larger.

Thanks, Mike. Your work is so exceptional. My husband, who usually doesn't pay attention to art, was very impressed with the "Fox Delivery" you did. He likes to restore old vehicles of this vintage.
