For a 'one good eyed' artist this looks GREAT!
Love your work, Rosie!

She's outside...How did that cat get outside

Not to sure about the flutter by...It just don't feel right...try'n for Queen annes Lace...will see if I can handle it. Might have to get the invisability device to enhance it.

Here is my update.....What do you think?

See that smudge up in the top left hand corner...I think I have dust under the glass of the scanner. I need a service man.

Awesome, Rosie!
Gorgeous. As far as your paper problem... have you every tried drawing on smooth posterboard? I'm actually working on a work right now and I'm doing it on heavy matte (80lb) cover paper (postercover). It's very smooth, and is a great weight. Try your local printing shop for 80lb poster cover... you can get it very cheaply and it's REALLY nice and smooth.

It's very exciting to see the drawing develop! Cat must've got out because you left the door open thinking about spring! The little corner smudge may be a shadow, if the paper isn't perfectly flat against the glass, the light hits it funny. Can't wait to see more if the kitty. Speedy recovery, Rosie.

Justine It dosen't matter what size I am try'n to scan, even 4x6 phots and that darn smudge appears.
Thanks for the comp...it's summer in this drawing and I can even smell the mustyness of the wild carrot...
By looking at this...I have noticed that there not going to be enough queen annes lace to hold up the butterfly, might have to add another..........?

To me it looks like she is looking at the backside of the Queen Annes lace Rosie. Like she is
watching the toes of the butterfly sticking through & wondering whether or not to investigate.
And yes, I would add another bloom of the QA if it were me.
Love the piece! It's great... as always.

Thank-you Charlie, very much.
357Lady...I sat the cat on the back burner for the weekend I started a new drawing and got a commision so she is going to be posted on the most passed wall in this apartment until I see what is wrong with it...maybe I'll post her upside down.......
I am going to try to lighten the background between her and the QAL.

Ahh one of those. ;/ Best to let it sit than for awhile..know how that goes.
The new stuff will get your mind off of it & then you can come back to kitters
when u have it figured out. Usually works.
Looking forward to seeing the new drawings you're working on!
