Here is a cose-up.
The work I've been doing is smudging the work that I did...
Today I'll tweak it and hopefully bring some light back with the almighty eraser.
Hope you enjoyed the run thru with this works.
Tell me what you think? Cause' I got some questionable areas of my own.

Wow! Very impressive. Are you working from a photo? Only suggestion I'd make is it feels a little flat (tone-wise). You might want to deepen some of your shadows around the deer to make your point of interest "pop" a little more. Absolutely beautiful! joanna |

Knotaway, Thanks for the comment, I beleive I am at my stopping point now, for one reason I can't focus on it anymore I have to let my eyes rest. The other reason is I signed it, the door is closed. I did use a photo for the deer but everything else is imagination. What do you think of the finished one? Rosie |

Beautiful work, Rosie!!!! Love the shadows, and your attention to detail is phenomenal as always. Ya gotta have many, many hours in this? Mike |

Mike, you are a good one for the compliments, thanks. For some reason I dislike this one. I don't know, I can't really see it to good. Started it last week and work on it every minute I had a chance, Did not keep tally of the amount of hours, but, my vision is blurry so it was a long time. Sure hope this clears up after a good night sleep. Rosie Mike, did you give me all those stars? |

Beautiful Rosie...yeah, get a good nights sleep or two...and then look again...its great from here! Make sure you're using some good lamps to work under...the newer (whiter) light bulbs are nice. I just took the 'pretty' light bulbs out of my kitchen ceiling fan and added big whitish blue ones! One of the funny things we artists will do!! They say be careful if you use the new odd looking energy saving bulbs...if you break them...use gloves as they have mercury.
Nice picture as ever!\

Hi Rosie,
This is beautiful. It's great to see all the pictures of your progression. If you're still not happy with this, just put it aside for a while (in view) and perhaps in time you'll see changes that you'd like to make. My suggestion would be to darken the darks even more for contrast. You are so talented!!!
