Hi Holcum. These are wonderful...great job. I should think you'd find a real specific market for prints of them on web sites that are oriented to Navy or Air Force or perhaps vetererns. I would think that many people would like them that have had or have affiliations with such. My husband was in the submarine service and still has a picture of his 'boat' on the wall of his office...very proud of keeping the free world free...a little longer.

Thanks River! I'm looking for such market at the moment. These were made for friends of my buddy who served on this carrier(USS Midway). And i don't only draw aviation pics, but other genres too. Will post more soon in other topics!

BTW what is reasonable price for such drawings in the USA, in average? This is A4 paper-format. I'm from Russia, but interested to sell drawings overseas

Hokum, Great subject to draw! I really enjoy aviation also. Anyways, great work, I can only hope to be as proficient at my medium as you are with yours.

Wow...it never occurred to me that you were not American with all of these pictures of American naval aviation.

Well, to sell nice prints I guess it would depend on what it is costing you (or someone who does it for you) to pay for the paper, the printing, mailings and your effort. Perhaps to make your own website is the best way. Then the world is at your online storefront. I believe prints are often sold with nice matting...which or course helps to protect the picture. Then the buyer can add his own frame. Prints can be individually signed as well. But should always be differentiated from originals which are usually more valuable. The main thing for you to know is that Americans usually expect a fixed price. There is less negotiating expected than in many cultures.  So if it is say 20.00 for a small matted print, then the shipping costs which have already been averaged should be stateted clearly as well. Other than that, finding someone else to sell them for you here is an option...since shipping would be less and perhaps more reliable.

Hope that gives you some idea.

Also...I realize I didn't completely answer your question about the price for a print. It would be important for you to figure out your method of printing and delivery before deciding. Then size is of course a factor. Also paper and mat quality determine value. See what I mean?

Maybe a large high quality print would bring quite a bit more...maybe 75.00? If a person finds that they're work becomes popular...of course they can then consider it more valuable. It is really about what it seems to sell at. Best wishes.

Hokum, These are fantastci, I love them (favorite is the helicopter)
How large are they, I'm guessing 20 something x 20 something. Great job, I enjoy looking at machinery drawings, perfect for a mans office.
Do you have a website? Did you sell them?

Thanks everybody! Especially to River for valuable info! Special thanks to you! These drawings are all A4 (roughly 20x30cm), what can be a price for originals? I'm also interested in selling originals!

At the moment the only site i have is-- artmajeur.com/hokum
But i gonna study Dreamweaver soon(it seems to be pretty easy), and then probably harder things

I've done these about US NAVY because I have some links to former US sailors, but at the moment they're busy and i can't sell the pictures right now. So for now, all these pictures here(except for the one with chopper) are AVAILABLE to everybody!

I also like aircraft carriers... they are so giant, so great, thousands of people and dozens of aircraft serving on each.

I guess it's what people seem willing to pay. A gallery in a navy town might be able to help. Like Annopolis...but they might get higher prices because of their overhead/store costs etc.

You might put an add on a website frequented by veterens as well. Good luck!
