I was practicing shading and perspective using this old photograph from a musical program at Carnegie Hall. My mother-in-law was a violinist and played Carnegie Hall. That's her in the picture.

The picture is very detailed so I don't know what you'll see on your screen.

Nice work Lucie! I like the shadowing! Great detail. I think the piano bench seems a little awkward (perspective wise) Mainly the legs. That's just my opinion. Keep up the good work it's inspirational!

Thank you for the nice compliments, Charlie and bggordon. Now that I Look at those piano bench legs, the one on the right looks too fat to me. I think the fabric from her dress threw me off. Is that what you're referring to, bggordon? Perspective is my weakest link. I really appreciate your comments.
