After seeing your Neopolitan Mastiff done in pencil (?) I wanted to share with you the one I did in pen & ink. I always find it interesting how we, as artists, see and interpret things differently and have our diverse styles. I did this a long time ago for Neo Rescue to put on their tee and sweatshirts.

Your Neo looks so soft and sweet, StickFigure. In comparison, mine looks like a warrior.

Its wonderful! And neither of us wrong as they are all you described; soft, sweet, & warriors
The neatest thing to me is how personal style IS so Personal.
Do you have a neo?
I bet they sold ALOT of Tee/Sweatshirts that year!
Pen & ink is so brave. I could only use the 'erasable' pen! haha

I only deal with English Mastiffs. Never owned or rescued a Neo. I made the painting pro bono for them for Rescue. That was the extent of my contact.

Have you ever tried pen & ink? You may surprise yourself! You could do the drawing in pencil using just strokes (or crosshatching, etc.) with a pencil for shading. Then follow up with pen strokes over the pencil lines. Bet you'd get the hang of it
