Here's 190 lb. Duke squashed into his chair. I received a colored photo from his owner and penned it into an 8X10 ink on Bristol Board. I thought you might enjoy seeing it, but I'm also posting to practice resizing my pictures so I can share them with you. Comments welcome.

Lucie, I think it's great. I like the lazy, cozy expression he has. You've done an outstanding job with the composition. Besides, he looks too big to tell him he can't be there!

Thank you Yes, but with every cookie you give them, on the back it says "From the boss".

Lucie...my teenage daughter said..."now that's an illustration!" Which is a real compliment from her...as that's what she want's to do...

Oh, bless her heart! I wish her the very best. May she get as much enjoyment out of art as I do

Well doesn't he look comfy! I hate to be the one to try to get him outta that chair!! I like the stippling work on the face and paws.

Being a mastiff owner and self proclaimed "connoisseur" *hehe
I would say you did a great job capturing typical mastiff behavior! Always a lap dog trying to squeeze in the smallest places *eyeroll.
