i drew the snake and tree with pen and ink then added color with prismacolor using white ink for highlights. i took a photo of some trees and used photoshop to blur it and added it as my background to try something new. hope you like.

Wow! excellent color! You've got a good composition. It's nice to see what you can do with photoshop to enhance your work! The highlights work well, and the background makes it look like the snake is ready to jump out at you! Well done!

Awesome snake, it looks so real! At the sake of sounding stupid, how do you go about adding a photo background to your artwork...I didn't know such a thing could be done!Laurie

Even though I Hate snakes, this is very cool to look at. Very 3 dimensional.
I think I will have to try this ...eventuallly *eyeroll
