It's very nice. Can you tell me about your pencils? I use regular pencils for drawing, and then for tracing and transfering my drawing to wood. I find all the walmart/box store pencils are terrible. I need my pencil to be very sharp all the time, and use an electric sharpener. I find the "lead" is usually off center and often broken in the center, so I sharpen, have wood on one side, and/or the lead falls out! I'm sure you and everyone else know's what I"m talking about. I need good lead, that sharpens to a point, and doesn't break easy while tracing a piece of wood to match another for an inlay.

Thank you. This was a ruff sketch I did when the hydro was out one day. I enjoyed the silence. It is so silent with no hydro. I like it. As for my pencils. I usea Stadtler brand. they are the blue colored pencils Made in Germany. They come in a metal case. And I buy them at Walmart. I know that you can buy pencils with a harder lead in it but they are not sketching pencils. rule of thumb. The darker the pencil shade the softer the graphite. I use an electric sharpener. I just insert the pencil in the sharpener lightly just so that it catches the top to sharp. It is important to hold the pencil horizontal to the sharpener cutter. I try to take a little shavings off as possible of the pencil. It worKs for me. As for the graphite falling apart. That is usually because the pencil has been dropped a few times and the graphite is broken or cracked before hand. Did you ever try using a nail to trace what you want. I have sketch with a plain old nail. It is light but works. It usually states on the pencil if it hard. The pencils with the letter *b* are softer then the ones with the letter *h*. Hope I this is of some help to you. I have been wanting to get my sketching done. It is just that I have to work yet to support my habit. Good luck?
