This is "Dad", 8x10, graphite pencil. This piece I did after losing my dad to cancer 2 yrs ago. I had a little trouble with smearing before I discovered workable fixatives.

I too did a portrait of my Dad when he crossed over, it is a great memorial to have. Good therapy too, and also better than a photograph.
