I think this is just super! Is she a friend or relative? I has a kind of fantasy feel to it that's really nice.

I have 2 just plain ole nit-picky things that I see that sort of bug me. First, her face is asymmetrical to a degree that is noticeable. I think you're intending to shadow along the curl on the viewer's left but it appears as if her face between the nose and eye is concave while the viewer's right side is gently rounded.

Also, I think the spaces between her teeth could be lightened just a little. My eye is immediately drawn there.

As I said, these are really nit-picky things and just my opinion. I think you've done a fabulous job with the shading and the composition and just the whole overall drawing!

Frank.........this is beautiful. Her teeth don't bother me, but her right cheek line does seem to be a bit off. Her eyes are gorgeous!

Jang: A good photogapher I am not actually sometime a frustrated one:-) !!! the picture of the drawing was taken at a slightly tilted angle and I could not get it straight so the asymetry of her face is exaggerated even more. In the short time I have been studied human face and learned about everyone has a prefer side of his/her face, majority of us has asymetric faces. This model although is very beautiful her face is asymetrical, her teeh are not straight. All said, I will retake the picture at the correct angle to show just the slight asymetry. I agree about the teeth which can be toned down a bit.

Myrna, the hair supposed to cover her right cheek bone, and it seems like there is a cheek line, that can be easily corrected by changing her wildly curving hair, good observation.

Thanks for your input - will put up the updated one later.

I agree with above that her right cheek has that vertical line taking out the curve of her cheekbone, and softening the two front teeth will take focus away from them. Other than that, this is a beautiful drawing, your values are excellent, The added interest of her holding the necklace is a plus and does not interfer with the portrait.
