| Hello everyone, I just wanted to entertain you with this. Drawn on a 14" X 14" drawing paper with four shades of sketch pencils and charcoal. Reflection of my husband while he was boiling water.Comments are welcome. Title was husband's suggestion. |

Hello Retha , Raech and Jim, Thanks a lot for the nice comments. It was something that just came to mind when I saw my husband's reflection in the tea kettle. I snapped a photograph and worked from that.
Retha, It takes a little patients but I had fun and enjoyed doing it.
Raech, thanks for the nice words.
Jim, compliments to you also, I just checked your website and you also have a eye for details. I especially like the painting entitled Tea party , reminds me of Monet. |

Very unique subject matter and beautifully executed. The shine on the kettle is outstanding. And the texture on the handle and knob is well done too. Wonderful!

| I would consider this a whimsical portrait, rather than a tea kettle drawing. I agree that it is "clean and crisp". Very nice rendition, with limited visual distractions. Did you give the drawing a title? |

Thank you all very much for your nice compliments. Your kind words gives me a lot of inspiration.
Hi Claudiamah, Yes I gave it a title which is "A watched pot (kettle) never boils ", suggested by my husband. |
