This two-year old drawing was created with a #2 graphite pencil. The drawing's size is 6"x20", on watercolor paper. The scene includes a dredging tug , beside the Campobello Bridge in Lubec Maine. The tides are too strong for any craft to remain in one spot in the Narrows between Canada and the USA, so twice a day when the tides change, the tug puts into shore and "waits for the slack tide", before returning to work. This is a winter scene which is a season that I hope to experiment with more. Claudia

Nice drawing.
I wish we could see it a little larger. I really like the panoramic layout.

I've tried to send a larger version of "...Slack Tide", but it is almost 200kb, and won't upload. Claudia

Hi Retha, I looked up Web Image Optimizer on google, and it seems to be for a Windows computer. I have a Macintosh computer. Any other suggestions to reduce the size of the file for "...Slack Tide?" Claudia

Very nice values and persceptive, I love the detail. The bridge and the road make for nice balance without being boring. scochran
