I've tried this several times, hopefully this time it will work. Adjusted the pixels right on my camera. So here goes again. This is a picture I did for my son of his "grouchy old man" (he isn't really)

Very nice! It looks as if you put a lot of work into this but you got a great result!

Very nice, the dog's eyes look like they're focused on you.

Hi Myrn,
I like your work. Have you thought to enter the All-Media Paint-Off? I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Leon I hadn't thought about the paint-off, and when I went and looked at it and saw the subject I was hesitant. I've never done flowers, and flowers with graphite might be quite a challenge.  But then I decided if you don't try you'll never know, so, my piece should be ready in a couple of days. It seems to be coming along fine if I don't mess up.

IT IS HIS PERSONALITY and you´ve conveyed it. GREAT!

My Irish setter became 16 years…, she was called "Lady"
when she became older each day with her was still more a gift…

Here's Sully all framed and ready to go home.  I think my son will like it.  I also get a name plate engraved and affix it to the center of the bottom of the frame for all pet portraits I do.  Will be doing the same for this one.  Thank you all for you great responses, it means a lot (as you all well know) when one receives such positive feedback.

I just want to hug him! He's so cute.
I like the faded color in the background. I've been trying to build up to that but am afraid to mess up. Now I'm a bit more inspired
