While I still consider this to be an abstract form of art, it does have more of an defined image. Perhaps it is more an impression.

This was painted from my imagination, using Photoshop CS2 and a tablet, without a reference image.  I most often use my own custom designed brushes in my 2D digital paintings.

As always, your comments, constructive critiques, and suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for your interest,
Suzanne

P.S.  Now, if I could only learn how to spell!   The title is:  Joyful Sorrow

I think its lovely, wonderful color and texture. Has a great amount of depth. Very painterly, i think.

Thank you, Justine, I appreciate your comment very much. Not my usual style, but it feels good to do something a little different when inspiration hits. Warm Regards, Suzanne

I llike the style Artwithin! It's a Keeper! Nice use of opacity! Very nice color, looks complementary! Looks like it was fun. I use CS3 now, I have to keep up because of college classes. I enjoy both CS2 and CS3. I think you used the program well, and good job with the tablet! My Professors would be pleased!
