I like it! It's refreshing. Reminds me of my first computer art - done with, of all things, Microsoft Paint. I did some pretty cool stuff until I heard of all those great computer graphic programs available. They all seem to do different things. I have Corel Paint 8 but don't know how to use it yet. Is your Corel the same thing?

Hello L'artiste-poete, Thanks for your comment. I'm not too sure about Corel Paint 8. Mine is Corel Painter X. I'm just starting to paint digitally again. I did painting with Microsoft Paint a long time ago also just for fun. My husband just gave me this program to try and this is my first painting , I still have a lot to learn about this program. |

I started usung Corel on Corel 8, then 10 and Now Corel Graphic Suite 11, It is possible to upgrade too. But I love Adobe Photoshop and Gimp..... too. Gimp is free on the internet, but not everyone likes its way of working. It fills the gap for certain things. Deep paint is Amazing for painting, also free on the internet as is Artweaver for painting, both good but I prefer Deep paint, Photopaint and Adobe for painting.

I have Corel Photopaint 13 comes normally with Corel Draw and then I have Corel Painter - different applications. Painter is more for creating digiart. Hope this helps.

| Hi Retha and Anghwar, thank you both for the information. I started out with microsoft paint, then I got Corel Painter X. But I also have Adobe which I hardly use. I like Corel Painter the best. My husband just bought me a tablet and I'm finding it easier to use than a mouse. |

No! If you want to paint , then you must paint. I don't thnik that digiital painting actuallly makes the grade. |

Hi Retha and Anghwar, thanks a lot for the information. I appreciate it.
Retha, The more I used the tablet the easier it's becoming, but I still have a lot to learn.
Yeldog, Gee, I thought I posted this in the digital art forum (Art that is done digitally not painted the conventional way). I do paint but I wanted to try something different. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Yeldog,
I think digital painting makes it on its own grade.... Its much more work than you think.....
