Excellent ! work Bill. Great work on the brush strokes. You captured him beautifully, yet were able to see him through the eye of an artist.

This came from several photos I saw of him. Oddly, the fabric on the couch behind him is the fabric on our living room drapes, and that caught my eye.
I've been moving from florals to figure/portraits and have been looking for subjects and I noticed that he's an ideal subject, lots of distinguishing features and expressions to use for a likeness. He's also a handsome man. His wife also has a wonderful face for a portrait.

For those of you who demand equal time, check out my sketch of Barack Obama, who's also a great subject. That will be my next painting
