How it works is that we invite ArtistsNetwork.com members and newsletter subscribers to vote on their favorite. This happens only once every two months when a paint-off is closed and all the posts are in according to the deadline. For instance, the latest prompt, the "30-minute self-portrait" prompt runs until December 1. We always post an announcement on the forum under All-Media Paint-Off when it's voting time.
By the way, I have some news. This is my last week here on The Artist's Magazine, and thus, my last week as administrator. A new editor will be taking over my duties. Just wanted you all to know. It's been great fun meeting new people on the forum.

Lisa,
How do I post paintings on this form, I really would like to get some advice about starting to paint again after stopping for over 25 years. I had to raise a family, so I had to do Achitecture full time. Now that my children are out of college and on their own maybe I can paint again. |
