I just finished this for my niece Rosie. She is a big Bob Marley fan. I'm not much of a Reggae fan, but this is what she wanted for her birthday. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks!
Jim

I really like this work, Bob. I find it very dynamic with the movement of hair and the angle of the guitar. Arlene Babad

Jim, it's great!!! You did an excellent job. I love how you captured movement and the essence of his being. She's going to flip over it!

Hi Jim: Looks good to me. How big is the picture? I'm on Comcast high speed now instead of dial up, and will be looking in more often to see who is posting. Getting a new computer around next week.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Jim
Believe it or not...I am STILL trying to finish that big colored pencil pic with the flowers! I know...I know!!! I got sidetracked yet again. All the awesome fall foliage around here.....I started an oil pastel pic of a gorgeous tree next to a steeple. But I WILL finish the CP picture. My goal is to have both finished in the next two weeks. I'll be framing one of them and putting it into a Christmas show at the end of the month with one of my stipplings. I'll post both when I'm finished and maybe you can help me pick which one to frame.

Thanks Gene, Glad you could stop by. Always good to hear from you. Anything new in pastel land? I'm thinking of trying some winter landscape pastels with a Christmas theme. Hope to see some of your work up hear soon. Jim

Hi Jess, Looking forward to seeing both of your paintings. What kind of a Christmas show are you entering? Whatever it is I'm sure you will do yourself proud. Thanks again Jess, Jim

Wow Jim, you really captured a sense of the musician and his music at the same time, nice job. You did a jazz painting once too I think that had much the same feel! Great job!
