| This is a picture I painted for a show at our local art class but didn't finish it in time, and still have a little to do on it so I can show it next year when the fabulous fakes are to be shown. This is from a painting that hangs in the Louve in Paris France, It is by Gerard and is called Amor and Psyche, also known as Psyche receiving the first kiss of love. It is an acrylic, 18 X 24 inches. Comments welcomed |

Thanks Kim, Mette and Jim for your kudos on my painting. the area you all pointed out as being done nicely was probably the hardest part to duplicate, that is the sheer skirt, but it was worth the effort, I learned a lot by doing it.
