Here is the lastes painting from the studio, September Serenade. This painting took the better part of Two months too paint, the longest I have ever spent on a painting. Would love to hearwhat everyone thinks. You can see a larger image of the bull elk paint on my website.

| Went to your site and saw this larger and it is just simply amazing! Just the shadow and the light on the rocks would have driven me crazy! Well balanced and excellent work! |

A very convincing painting. Very realistic and like Jim "the light and shadow on the rocks would have driven me crazy!" Kathy

Hi Derek; Your paintings are unbelievable, as I told you before when i saw your first Elk painting. I also went to your site and marvelled at seeing your other paintings. They are all great. And I was surprised to read that most of them are done in Acrylics, which is the only media I've ever used, and I'v found it hard to find someone in my area who does it and handles it like you do. I'm sending a check to order two of your DVD's.
Tell me though, if you spent two months on that last Elk painting, how much can you ask for a painting like that. If you gauge it by the time spent, like lawyers do, you would have to charge pretty big amounts.
Regards
Hal |

| WOW! Double WOW! So delicate and polished. I'd like to know the actual size of this painting and whether this is multi media or just acrylics.

| Hi Derek! Great work as always. Glad to see more of your work. I took a week seminar with you sometime back in Canada and painted the wolves. I learned so much from you. I just joined this site and it is really very informative like you were in class. Cindy (animals) |
