Subject: The Atomic Gas Station

This was an old gas station, called Atomic Gas located in upstate NY. It was purchased and converted to a home - but the owners kept the large General Store/Gas sign. I took a series of reference photos back in the fall and finally painted this. It's acrylic on canvas, 10 x 14. Comments welcome!

No comments or suggestions? I'm surprised at how quiet the Acrylic board is.

Hi,
It's very well done. I personally would like to see the gas station lower in the painting. Perhaps the road could curve more to adjust to the gas station perspective.

Thank you Kathy, for your reply. I hadn't thought to lower the gas station. Interesting idea - change of view point like that. I may try that on a new painting of it (a bit much to change on this one). Thanks again. Nan
