Greetings y'all!

I got a little bored and started playing with my acrylics - and this was created! I have used washes many times before but never in this way. I took away paint instead of adding it to make the speckled effect in "Mirror to My Soul" I did this to experiment with spraying water on half dry paint layers- when the water sits on a semi-dry paint layer it absorbs the paint. When the water is sponged off a few minutes later (I used an old towel) it takes the paint away where the water was and exposes the paint or surface underneath. If you ever want to play around with acrylics, you should definitely experiment with this!
