I hope this posts; I tried earlier today but could not find my painting.  There surely is a lot of artwork on this site!    This is a 16x20 acrylic on canvas that I created based on two photos that I took.  The old house has been torn down now, but when I photographed it, wild petunias filled the yard around it, which made quite a contrast ___the old decaying house and the blossomming of life in the flowers. Only an artist could appreciate it.  The old tree is still standing ( in a different location).  There are quite a few old relics of houses here in North Carolina and I  have painted a few.  They have a kind of meloncoly charm to them, I think.  I did a painting of a tobacco barn a year ago and a couple of months later strong winds felled a tree on it.  I will post a pic of it soon.   Please feel free to critique any of my work, and don't spare my feelings.      well it worked this time but I got the pic kind of small.  Look in watercolor forum for a study of the same subject.

Charl,
This is a very pleasing picture. I like your soft colors. The tobacco building has the same feeling about it.
