I painted these over 25 years ago, I had to stop and raise my 2 children. I am about 3 years away from retirement, so I want to start painting. Would you mind giving me some advice and I can take honest opinions about my work. I used photographs from National Geographic as reference.

You're very talented. Advice for getting back into it: Read some art books. Join Northlight Book Club and you'll have a wide variety of books to choose from (plus you get three free when you join). Take a class. Join an art guild where you can meet with other artists and paint in a group. It can be hard to get started, so just do something, anything creative and that will get you wanting to create whatever art is inside of you waiting to come out. Welcome!

Completely moving!  I agree with Bright Eyes; the world needs your paintings.  Now with digital camera capabilities, you can take loads of your own pictures to use as reference.  I also hope to see your new work.
