Yes! This is beautiful. My mom wanted her girls to pick a perenial for her garden for mother's day and this makes me wish I picked a coneflower. I Love the twisted petal... it is like I can reach out and touch it. VERY VERY NICE!

That twisted petal was the deciding factor in painting this flower.  I really thought it gave it character.  Love coneflowers in my garden and the birds do too.

This is beautiful! Keep painting. I love the way you did the background, just barely suggesting the different leaves back in there. Great work.

Thank you Spunkin-z and gene. I haven't painted much so it is a matter of trial and error. And I am very very slow!
