H Guys and Gals,
Sorry I haven't been around much lately.
Been very busy and of course life has intervened...which doesn't mean I haven't been painting.

I did take my time painting this, about 3 weeks.
It is again of that local fishing company...the Happy Hooker Fish Company, I couldn't resist naming it the "Happy Hooker at Rest"

Size is 12" X 24"

When I read the title I wasn't expecting an old man at all! I love the details of the picture, can almost smell the fish!

Look closer, it's not an old man...but a rather heavy set women named Alice.

I kid you not.

Oh my goodness! It is an Alice! Couldn't tell with the hat and overalls. But hey, under all those layers of clothes maybe she has something a little lacy and racy on. A happy hooker during the day and a, well, who knows at night. Maybe, just maybe........

I love your attention to detail! Buildings have never been my thing, but I admire anyone that can master them as you have. Your sense of humor is a breath of fresh air (or fish?) in a serious world.

Love it! Keep up the good work and humor!

Cara

I agree about the building. Those shadows are fantastic. And thanks for explaining about Alice. I also would have called her simply Al, until you pointed out that she is a woman. The title is great.
