You're right...this is a fun piece. I can't see anything that you need to change. Good job on making them look glassy and the reflections accurate.

This is nice, but I really disagree with Kim in that my first reaction was that you could have made them look glassier (or shinier) by putting in some very white highlights. Maybe I'm wrong...........what do others think?
I have a marble painting going on in my head right now, and I'm trying to picture how I will be doing it. It seems to me these could look glassier. I suppose it depends on how much light you have on the subject.

I see you said you are about to finish this. That will be nice to see when
you put the finishing touches on this.

I love the composition and the colors, but I have to agree with Gene on this one. Judging from the light on the surface and the shadows, I think the marbles need more highlights and shaping from value variation (they look a little flat to me). I am assuming those will be your final touches?
It's a GREAT piece and I can't wait to see it finished!

I am new to the forum and having a great time reading all of the comments, so much learning to be had here. Your work is great and after reading others comments I can see what they see, however at first glance I liked it just the way it is. I can't wait to see the finished piece.(Obviously some very experienced artists here.)
