I have looking at paintings by Turner and Whistler, They often used a lot of amber colored paints. I liked the look so I tried a limited pallette for this 11 X 14 painting on canvas panel. Comments please

Hi Burt,

This is beautiful. Everything works so well, the colors, sky, water, dock. My eyes just move all over the place to take it all in. Is this something you created from a photo or plein air? The only thing I think I'd change is removing the pier on the right of the boat as it makes the painting a little busy at that spot. Great job.

Burt, this is gorgeous. I'm not familiar with Turner and Whistler, but maybe I should be - you have created a well done painting. Great job with the colors!
