Just finished this yesterday. Took a little longer then I thought it would take to paint.
A few months ago there was a glowing foggy morning. I drove around town photographing all sorts of things as reference for future paintings
This was down at a fishing company dock, I thought it would make a great painting since I do like painting foggy scenes.

Great painting in every way, I particularly liked the distant fog as a way of setting off the color. Looks like New England.

Your work is very well done! Seems to always show a mood or feeling. Something that is lacking in most other's work.

I'm out of words to describe your paintings without being redundant. This is another exceptional one.

its a beautiful painting.....everything is beautifully done....and definetly pops me into a morning whose quiet is only broken by the softly lapping water on the boats side, and the occassional cry of a gull...just gorgeous!

I get a lot of paintings out of our little local fishing community.
While there's only so many angles and scenes, but there's always different lighting and weather conditions.

Hi JM - I will also like to note - very well done. Alot of details and you did a great job of the haze in the background. Your reflections are so crisp and clear, it makes me want to jump right in. Very nice.
