I don't understand abstract art, Michele, so if it represents something...beats me. If it was done as something that is pleasing to the eye and evokes a cheerful feeling, well, you got it. I like it.

Hi Lucie,

Thanks for the compliment. I don't understand abstract either (nor usually enjoy it). I just did it to try to loosen up and boy did it help me. And it was also enjoyable and very fast. I started with some pictures of fall leaves so it's a combination of collage and acrylic. Obviously I didn't really try too hard to depict leaves so it's definitely not representational, but I had a lot of fun with the colors.

The more I stare at this the more dimension I see. That is the beauty of abstracts. They seem different each time you look at them. No need to understand, you just accept and enjoy them! This one is well done!
