Feedback needed: Is this painting interesting or creative? What about the composition? Are any changes needed? Many thanks, Martin |

Martin, abstract art is very subjective. Is there a style within the abstract genre that you were aiming for? Were you expressing a feeling or emotion that is behind the title of "Action"?
If you have something you wish to achieve in a piece, write it down before you start, then evaluate your work in light of how well you accomplished your goal. That will give you a point of reference for your next work.
That said, it you are like me, I paint my emotions/feelings, and the (digital) painting evolves as I see shapes and colors, how they interact and integrate with the feeling I am trying to transfer to the digital canvas. Sometimes, an accident will occur that zaps me into a whole different direction, it's a moment of accidental magic I just have to follow.
My sole criteria is to ask myself if I am happy with what I did. I'm not always. However, I keep evolving just like my work does. I do try to learn, and feel I will never stop being a student. I ask you, "Are you happy with your painting?"
As I look at this, I see a sunset over a lake and green hills. It is interesting to me, because that particular landscape appeals to me and brings back happy memories. I will bet, however, that there would be many different interpretations of what the individual viewer sees.
I like your colors. I also like your paint application, and blending of the orange and yellow. If I had anything to offer in the way of a suggestion, it would be that curves could be added in the terrain, if it is a landscape, to add interest. Just a thought, not the gospel, and opinions would also vary on that as well.
Best wishes, and thank you for commenting on "Approach".
