If I lived in NYC I would definitely attend your show.

I don't feel qualified to critique abstract, but for whatever it's worth, I really like this. The center draws my eye first because it's void of the yellow, but then I'm drawn to explore the rest. There's a lot of rhythm in the paint, but it's pleasantly not repetitious. I think it's very well balanced.

I hope you do well with your show.

I too don't feel qualified to comment on abstract art but I like this particularly the yellows through the painting. Arlene

I dunno. I just like it. Hang it on my wall I would. Cheers! Does it have all kinds of texture too?

in effect abstract art contains everythng that is necessary in realism, except the realism...hehe...you need composition, perspective, and contrasting values.....

i do like this in that it keeps the eye traveling around it...the bits of yellow redirecting us here and there...
the one thing i would suggest is to pop it into greyscale when your creating your paintings to see if there is a interesting value range.....i do think this has all the elements, but just keep an eye on values a bit...
i am not close enough to ya to visit your show, but best wishes on it being very successful! i see no reason why it wont be!!!!
