This is my latest painting. 20" X 24" acrylic on Canvas board. I have been quite lax until now. The beauty of the surroundings here in Maine really get me excited. I hope you all enjoy this one. It's pretty good size, I had some fun getting it down to size so I could enter it on the site.

Very beautiful painting. Here in Michigan this year, I think we are going to go from full green to dull brown. The weather was horribly dry this summer. I think I'll come to New England to paint, after seeing something like this. Very nice painting.

I really like the way the trees slant away from the viewer. Somehow it adds to the feeling of being there and walking up a steep path. You can almost smell the fall air and feel the contrast of the warm sun and cool shadows of the day.

Everyone seems to enjoy the colors, but this painting doe not do justice to the real thing. This year the foliage has made the country side seem like something made of fantasy. It's is just extraordinarily beautiful. Thanks all for your kind compliments, I hope this painting has been pleasant for you all to look at.
