Thank you for the nice compliment about my painting, I really appreciate it! This is my first posting on the forum. This painting is the first in a series of Oval paintings that I've started. The subject of the series will be Victorian women. I just sold this painting and it was with mixed emotions as it is the first oval I've done!
Oval frames are somewhat difficult to find at reasonable prices. These gold leaf frames I found at a framer in Michigan where I live. I have some online sources as well. |

I think this is the first oval work I've seen on the forum. Very nice work.
Should be an interesting series to see.
