This piece is 48" x 12". The grey area is the back wall showing thru the areas without paint.

Hi Alissa,
I have a few questions about your work... do you paint on the outside of the plexiglass, or is the paint on the side against the wall? Can you hang them in a window like stained glass, or would that fade the paint?
I checked out your website and noticed that the flower picture is a commission. Good job... Keep it up

Leon - I paint on the front side that faces away from the wall. I've not met anyone else that paints like this, but I'm sure they are out there. My paintings can hang in a window or on the wall. I create them to go on the wall, but they look cool with the light shining through. The paint is quite resiliant to light - I've had some test paintings out in the elements (my backyard) for well over a year with no color fading . . . Yes, "Blue Flowers" was a commission piece. I'm getting ready to start on another 3-piece commission set. I'll post pics when I finish them.
