Well I submitted my first posting with a desert. Thought I would show you something completely different. This painting is acrylic on panel,18 x 24, and is titled Lunch Date! I painted this from photos I took on a trip to La Jolla. I had so much fun photographing these Pelicans. I feel I was finally able capture personality and then chose to paint it. Hope you like it. Lucy.

Hi Lucy,
This painting like your desert painting is beautiful. I go to the beaches along the Texas coastline. It appears that people in Arizona go to the beaches in California and particularly the San Diego area. My wife who has been there says that it is quite beautiful.

Lucy, this is wonderful. I love your use of color. The Pelicans actually look wet as do your rocks. You did a fantastic job here. I have really enjoyed viewing your work, and I think the title is perfect.

Wow! Thanks for all the great feedback! As a side note, how did you get an image in the author column on the left? I could not find a place to do that.

Hi Lucy
Great work, especially the feathers. They do look really wet, as if after a dip the waters.
