My first post hope it's correct. This is a scene in Plzen, Czech Republic, I painted from a photogragh I took when my wife and I visited her country. The tower dates back to the 12th or 13th century. It's Painted on a 14 X 18 canvas. Hope you like it. Please comment.

Beautiful work, amazing attention to detail. This must have
taken you some time to finish.

Nicely done.
Good organization and color balance
I'm not 100% clear on the light source, tho.
For example:
That large dark mass in the street seems to be a cast shadow from a structure on my right indicating that it's early morning or late afternoon and the sun is angling somewhere in the sky to my right.
Based on that I seem to be looking for a cast shadow on the building from that first light pole, or am I missing something?
Thank you for the posting!

Thanks to everyone for your comments. They were greatly appreciated.
The light source was pretty much straight overhead. The photo didn't show more of a shadow and I pretty much painted it like the photo. The streets are very narrow and the buildings are fairly high so I guess thats why I didn't put in an extended shadow.
