 Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.. I really appreciate your comments. I thought the trees on the left looked too tall for the centre ones so I cut them back some to make them look further away and more in proportion,  What do think??

It does make them look more in the distance and makes the foreground look more prominent. I like the way the colors balance this way, too.

It also gives greater breadth to the body of water. I like your foreground trees.
