So this is my first posting.  Agawa Canyon, North of Sault St Marie in Ontario where I was struck by the awesome beauty of the wilderness and just had to paint it. 

Hope to get some much needed feedback!  Please be honest.  I'm getting ready for my first show and don't have much of an artists community to draw from.  Thanks Angela

Angela, this is beautiful. Good luck with your show, I am sure it will be a success. I highly recommend www.wetcanvas.com to you. You will have much quicker feedback there. It is free to join. The acrylics forum is wonderful as well the the landscape forum, but the entire site is great and you will find so much useful information there. I can't see anything to change on this painting, it is well done.

The canvas is 24 x 36". My first biggie! After not painting during most of my pregnancy I decided to jump right back into it with gusto. I've had the canvas forever but was always intimidated by the size. Now with a 5 1/2 month old, I don't have as much free time but it seems to have lit a fire under me to make the most of the time I do have. It's taken me a few years to develop a painterly style. I used to do realism and was never satisfied because it couldn't be like a photo. It was tough to let go of that but I'm a much more relaxed painter now! Sue: I'll check out the site you recommeded. Thanks again!
