I have noticed that a lot of painters enjoy painting pears so I figured it was time for me to join the ranks. My biggest challenge was to make the red pears not apples...and to make the painting live.

Thanks for the kind comments! I added a bit of gold metallic to my yellow ochre so the cloth actually glows a bit.

Thanks, Heather. It is quite subtle but it makes it reflect the light more and it is brighter I think.
