Wow, I love this piece. How do you blend your colours so nicely? I'm always struggling with blending with my acrylics. I have tried using an extender so the paint doesn't dry as quickly but I haven't found it any easier to get the blending I want!

Raechel: I don't blend, at least, not much. This was done by glazing, using matte medium, over a black and white grisaille. The B&W grisaille was created with #5 neutral gray and white, painted thickly and sometimes scumbled. Adding medium (I use matte) lets one blend a little.
